What will you enjoy doing (duties/tasks)
- Conduct inventory cycle counts and ensure an adequate supply of tires and related parts.
- Inspect and test tires to ensure conformance to standards.
- Perform all necessary tire repairs and tire balancing.
- Manage disposition of all off tires at assigned facility.
- Assist in conducting assigned shop scrap analysis.
- Operate and maintains hand/power tools, balancing equipment, and other specialized automotive tools and machinery.
- Provide training to all technicians on industry best practices.
- Practice safety methods in the operation of equipment and performance of duties.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Operate independently and as a team member.
What you need to succeed (Qualifications, experience, skills, attributes)
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experienced in tire wear, mounting/dismounting using hand tools, maintaining stocking levels
Organizational skills (Lean thinking process organization)
- 3 years of experience in the tire maintenance field.
- Vendor sponsored training in mounting/dismounting, tire repair, valve stem replacement, balancing tires.
- Ability to deliver exceptional service through positive engagement and patience.
- Ability to work in a team environment, to continuously improve results.
- Able to promote a culture of trust and safety.
We offer a competitive compensation package that includes a base salary ranging from $16.33 - $22.45 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package. Our benefits package includes paid time off and paid sick time in the first year, health insurance, a 401(k) plan, disability insurance, and more as described in our benefits guide. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, performance, geography, and internal equity. Benefits may be subject to waiting periods and other terms and conditions.
