    Your tasks:

    • Act to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty, maximize shipment profitability, and decrease operating expenses.
    • Manage and update shipment information in TMS (TANGO), including creation, arrival updates, document processing, and coordination with carriers and customs teams, ensuring accurate and timely handling of all related tasks.
    • Cooperate with Remain Team in Common Functions/answers.
    • Close activities daily in TMS (TANGO) and prepare closing month with daily costs/income updates.
    • Attend and make phone calls to simplify daily work/procedures.
    • Promote a paperless, digital office environment using modern communication methods and electronic tools provided by DB Schenker.


    Your profile:

    • Academic background: Diploma, Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience
    • Proficiency in English
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in ocean freight operations.
    • Advanced ocean-specific knowledge.
    • Advanced digital competence.


    We are looking for you as an Ocean Freight Administrative Specialist at DB Schenker in Vila do Conde, Portugal. 


    Role Mission

    • Ensure the accurate and timely movement of ocean freight to and from specific locations within the service standards agreed with the Customer.
    • Handle all vendor-facing communication and shipment-related internal communication between DB Schenker stakeholders.
