ISC Solution Design & Implementation Manager (m/f/d)

This role will report into ISC Europe and shall interface actively with regional business developers, IT and ISC on single country level.

This role will also work hand in hand with the customer and in line with the customer needs to ensure a focused steering of the business and realization of the fitting solution design prior to any deployments.

Main Tasks: 

• Solution driven Implementation scope
• Translate operational requirements into technical solution approaches by actively applying extended solutions suite of InforNexus
• Actively design technical solution in line with business requirements/needs
• Align with internal subject matter experts & external software providers on solution design & realization
• Ensure technical realization is completed according to business expectations
• Actively drive project success by engaging from a project management point of view to ensure the solution is delivered as planned & in line with ISC strategy and expected retention
• Maintain proper documentation on technical/conceptional setup and any related changes
• Ensure needed process community is properly trained on new solutions and concepts
• Actively engage with all process stakeholders to rollout processes & technical features to new- and existing 
• Technical solution design & consultancy
• Serve as subject matter expert & support ISC RFQs in terms of technical solution design together with ISC teams on regional and local cluster level, with special focus on extended InforNexus solutions suite
• Actively support customer interactions by adding value understanding into ISC customer proposals
• Support clusters on complex customer implementations with know how & best practice sharing on technical realization & solution setup
• Work hand in hand with Global ISC stakeholders, IT and external software providers to rollout strategies and functions towards single country level 
• Continuous improvement of existing solutions based on new technology
• Review legacy technical ISC processes & assess options for optimization so processes are improved to meet both internal ISC targets, as well as customers’ service delivery expectations
• Implement those optimization solutions by collaborating with key stakeholders on Operations and IT side
• Define rollout approach of optimization solutions & actively drive together with ISC clusters inside Europe

To be successful in the above role, the incumbent should possess/ display the following key skills/ attributes:

• University degree in Logistics, International Management, Business Informatics or similar
• Job experience in logistics / ocean freight / IT-related would be beneficial
• Extensive understanding of order management & relevant experience in technical solution design and implementation
• Understanding of operational implications of order management
• Extensive understanding of 3PL and 4PL requirements on today’s forwarding industry 
• Ability to translate customer requirements into technical solution requirements
• Project management skills
• International work experience and exceptional English skills 
• Confident presentation skills 
• Analytical skills and structured approach, detail-oriented mentality 
• Independent and able to steer and make logic decisions 
• Team player & willingness to travel
