This position focuses on the reverse logistics arm, handling returns of faulty goods for repair, servicing, or recycling. The client is globally recognized for its innovative products, including mobile phones, laptops, watches, and tablets.
The role involves supporting three major hubs across the APAC region, requiring cross-cultural collaboration and coordination. The successful candidate will assist in optimizing existing solutions, enhancing reporting and data collection, and liaising with key stakeholders such as customers, internal engineering, IT, and project management teams. This role operates under the guidance of the APAC Operations Excellence Manager.
Specific Accountabilities:
Operational Support
- Assist in monitoring and steamlining reverse logistics processes across APAC hubs
- Create and maintain detailed operational reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking system
- Document key processes, workflows, and improvements for knowledge sharing
Data Analysis and Insights
- Gather, verify, and clean data from various sources, including internal systems and client feedback.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity to support decision-making.
Process Improvement
- Identify gaps in existing logistics processes and suggest practical improvements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to test and implement enhancements.
- Assist in creating or updating SOPs to reflect changes in processes and tools.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with engineering, IT, and project management teams to support joint initiatives.
- Coordinate with regional hubs to ensure alignment on objectives and tasks.
- Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding logistics and reporting.
Project Involvement
- Support the APAC Operations Excellence Manager on special projects aimed at enhancing reverse logistics operations.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide creative solutions to challenges.
Administrative Tasks
- Prepare materials for meetings, take notes, and follow up on action items.
- Schedule and coordinate calls with various teams across time zones.
Qualifications:
- Open to candidates currently pursuing their Diploma, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in any relevant field (Operations, Logistics, Engineering, etc.)
- Preferably with experience in using PowerBI or Power Automate tools
- Can commit to a full time internship schedule for at least 6 months
