Location: Nuneaton

Hours: 37.5 per week, Mon-Fri between the hours of 13:00-21:00/14:00-22:00 flexible. 

Salary: £23k-£24k (DOE)

Join our team as a Transport Administrator in Nuneaton! You’ll support our land transport department, assisting planners, drivers, and occasionally customers.

What will you be doing?

• Liaise with drivers to ensure smooth operations.
• Support drivers on the road.
• Handle transport calls with the AM/PM Planner.
• Prioritise and monitor premium and air freight deliveries.
• Build strong relationships with business services and terminal teams.
• Cross-reference deliveries and collections in our systems.
• Monitor overnight collections and provide reports.
• Track high-priority freight and manage transport emails.
• Assist 20-40 delivery bookings daily, speaking directly with customers by phone or email. 
• Check unloading lists for discrepancies and update relevant teams.
• Chase PODs from previous days and update systems.
• Conduct driver debriefs and print paperwork for drivers and terminal staff.

About You:

We’re looking for a motivated individual eager to learn. While experience in the industry is a plus, it’s not essential. Key traits include:

• Clear and concise communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritise, and solve problems.
• Excellent relationship-building skills across all business levels.
