    City Surcharge

Due to rising traffic volumes, timely delivery and pick up is becoming increasingly difficult in metropolitan areas. This leads to unavoidable cost increases.

The situation is particular critical in the metropolitan areas of some major European cities (e.g. Paris, London, Rome). City administrations have increasingly regulated access to urban areas. In addition, vehicle bans frequently lead to further major restrictions. For some time now, these measures have led to increased expenditure and unavoidable cost increases for the delivery and collection of your consignments in the major cities affected.
We are therefore obligated to charge a special surcharge for deliveries and pick-ups to affected major European cities.
In addition to Paris and the six German cities for which the city surcharge already applied, the city surcharge will be extended to the listed zip code areas in Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and the United Kingdom from January 1, 2025.
