Job Overview
To be the main contact for SME and Network clients to serve, coordinate, and follow up on service orders with the different operational departments and Schenker offices/partners to report on the status of their shipments, as well as to identify and provide efficient solutions to deviations and complaints from clients and networks that arise during the shipping process to ensure the quality of service, development, and permanence of accounts in the company based on international regulations, procedures, and guidelines defined internally.
In Freight Forwarding operations (Air or Sea), Customer Service Trainee Knowledge of port and airport logistics (loading-unloading maneuvers, transfers, confrontations, etc.). Problem solving and decision making in logistics processes. Basic handling of different types of merchandise (oversized, dangerous, refrigerated). Basic experience in understanding customer needs. **In case of internal promotion and failure to comply with the indicated time, the change must be justified by the supervisor and accepted by the next level of command.

Bachelor Degree
Basic knowledge of reading quotes Foreign trade. Handling of export and import documents for different types of cargo (dangerous, perishable, etc.) and air and sea shipments. National and international regulations on the traffic of goods. Correct application of INCOTERMS. Scope, limitations and responsibilities of the Company towards clients and subsidiaries. Geographical knowledge of main ports, airports and international crossings. Ease in handling and learning shipment management systems. Calculation of weight and cubic capacity. Coordination of transport in the different modalities knowing the basic process of customs clearance (import and export).
