- Act as a bridge between peer developers and the support team, playing a critical role during operational incidents by diagnosing issues and facilitating effective communications.
- Enhance Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) workflows by automating build deployment & installing scripts to streamline the development process.
- Improve infrastructure monitoring by focusing on metrics and logs ensuring system health and performance.
- Work closely with developers enhancing application-level log analytics to help identify patterns, troubleshoot issues, and optimize application performance.
- Set up alerts for proactive monitoring of critical system workflows to prevent potential P1 & P2 incidents.
- Support the creation & improvement of dashboards for performance load testing, monitoring non-functional parameters, etc.
- Design, code, test, and maintain Java applications components.
- Contribute to peer code reviews and continuous integration.
- Maintain code quality standards across components.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues along with debugging and fixing defects.
- A university degree in computer science, IT, or an equivalent education
- 5-7 years of experience working as a Software Engineer and/or DevOps engineer
- Fluency in oral and written communication in English language.
- Good experience with GitLab for version control and CI/CD pipelines administration
- Good experience at containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Experience in setup and configuring metrics monitoring using Prometheus exporters.
- Good experience in creating and maintaining dashboard using Grafana
- Experience in Elastic stack (ELK) for Log ingestion and analytics using Logstash OpenSearch and Kibana
- Hands on experience in infrastructure as code (Terraform) libraries and scripting like PowerShell, Bash
- Experience in both Windows and Linux operating system is beneficial.
- Experience in AWS for cloud-based services such as EC2, RDS, SNS, SQS, S3, EFS
- Strong in hands-on Java Programming, OOAD, SOLID, Clean coding concepts
- Good Experience developing RESTful APIs with REST best practices.
- Familiarity with JavaScript UI frameworks e.g., VueJS or Angular is beneficial.
- Good knowledge of SQL RDBMS database design, optimization, and query performance.
- Familiarity with various stages of SDLC is a must including planning, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Strong at effective cross-cultural communication with an international & collaborative working mindset.
- Knowledge about agile software delivery methodologies along with experience of handling development tickets in Jira & documentation in Confluence like tools.

You will be part of an international architectural and development focused team located in Warsaw/Poland and Essen & Frankfurt/Germany.
