Supervisor - Contract Logistics/SCM, Operation (2 of 2)

Roles & Responsibilities

 * Responsible for overseeing the department's operations

 * Business requirements from order fulfilment, delivery timelines, inventory integrity, record and documentations

 * Training and development of staffs ensuring job compliance, discipline and quality work output from staff

 * Preparation of management KPIs for timely reporting and management review

 * Meetings with customers

 * Handle day to day operational, safety and quality issues

 * Assign tasks to staff and scheduling

 * Overall management of the logistics administration and documentation

 * Any other assigned duties in the warehouse as instructed by superior

 Specific Accountabilities

 * Approval of annual leave

 * Hire and terminate staff

 * Hands-on experience in storekeeping will be an added advantage

 * Good communication skills

 * Ability to deal with all levels of people

 * Able to perform work with minimal supervision

 * Accuracy and speed in performing daily activities

* Minimum in Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).

 * 3 - 5+ years of experience in logistics, contract logistics, or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

 * Strong knowledge of logistics operations, warehouse management, inventory control, and transportation management.

 * Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop teams.

 * Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

 * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a focus on detail and efficiency.

 * Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

 * Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
