Special Logistics Agent I - Land

Job Overview

This position is responsible for serving as the primary contact for a Customized solution land operation. (Night Shift position's available)

 

What will you enjoy doing (duties/tasks)

• Responsible to organize, plan, process, and vet shipments from pick-up to destination through a multi leg network incl. various value-added-services and short-term changes. 
• Responsible to meet customer Service-Level-Agreements, as well as safety and compliance guidelines. 
• Responsible for external and internal carrier and inventory management. 
• Responsible for shipment planning in cooperation with other products (air, ocean, contract-logistics) and external fulfillment service providers. 
• Responsible for the creation of various external and internal reports. 
• Responsible for the tracking of shipments SOP’s, KPI’s and score cards. 
• Oversight for all activities that impact service/contact obligations. 
• Maintain working knowledge of a strategic customer business and network. 
• Ability & willingness to support carrier management team as needed by the business. •Schedules and tasks subject to change upon customer requirements

 

What you need to succeed (Qualifications, experience, skills, attributes) 

• Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, transportation, or like experience. •
• Advanced communication (written and verbal), organizational, and problem-solving skills 
• Ability to deliver exceptional service through positive engagement and patience. 
• Ability to work in a team environment to continuously improve results. 
• Ability to promote a culture of trust and safety
