The Role
We are on the hunt for a dedicated AOG (Air-on-Ground) Coordinator to join our close-knit Air Freight team based in Alexandria!
This position plays the vital role of being the direct point of contact for Aerospace customers, applying your ability and skills to assist with AOG shipments. Working in a 24/7 team of Aerospace specialists, you will:
- Act as the point of contact for all AOG enquiries
- Control the shipping of all AOG's, repairs, purchase orders, as well as Engine shipments
- Liaise with overseas stakeholders to schedule or book shipments based on agreed transit times
- Ensure proactive follow-up of all AOG milestones to provide customers with timely updates
- Support a culture of continuous improvement to the Aerospace team
What We're Looking For?
- Working knowledge of the Aerospace industry with at least 2+ years previous experience using freight forwarding systems in a distribution environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills and proven ability to maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders
- A flexible team-player with availability to work in a rotating shift roster
