Head of Strategy & Development - Airfreight ANZ

The Role

We are looking for an entrepreneurial and innovative Head of Strategy & Development, Air Freight ANZ, to facilitate and drive the development of Airfreight strategy and corresponding implementation programs within the ANZ region.

Role Highlights:

• Lead the strategic planning and direction of Airfreight ANZ in alignment with Global Airfreight Strategy
• Ensure consistent program management and harmonisation of all Airfreight initiatives within ANZ, establishing and managing processes for strategy program implementation
• Drive the digitalisation of our Airfreight product/service portfolio, including scalable target operating models for digital products in alignment with overarching strategic direction
• Identify and manage external partnerships to drive digital products and services portfolio and performance for the region
• Standardise KPI figures and data presentations for Airfreight on a regional level

The Ideal Candidate

You will have at least 10 years' experience in freight forwarding with comprehensive air product knowledge, with a focus in the region of Oceania. You will have experience in P&L management and a fundamental understanding of finance and profitability. You will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal and strong proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel. You will be well-versed in sales, project management, and the ability to analyse and identify the root cause of problems. IATA/FIATA training and DG certification will be highly advantageous!
