An Established Leader in Logistics
In 2007, this marks a significant milestone in our journey towards a leader in the logistics industry where BAX Global Pte (Singapore Office) successfully merged operations with Schenker Singapore on 1 May 2007.
Our rich history in Singapore includes several key events such as an investment of 29 Million USD was used to set up our integrated Schenker Logistics Centre (SLC) back in 1998, followed by the establishment of Mega Hub in 2006, which is the largest freight and logistics facility in the Airport Logistics Park of Singapore (ALPS) located within the Free Trade Zone. Similarly, 2020 marks yet another feat as we put our new regional logistics hub, Red Lion – at a record-breaking investment of 101 million euros in Schenker’s history into operation in the free trade zone of ALPS.
These flagship facilities reaffirm our leading presence in Singapore as the heart of the logistics operations in Asia, forming the cornerstone to our state-of-the-art logistics facilities. Singapore also hosts DB Schenker’s APAC Regional Head Office.
