You will drive Lean Culture and enhance operational efficiencies through continuous improvement initiatives. Your role will be instrumental in establishing a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead and support improvement opportunities using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and other methodologies. Monitor the effectiveness of improvement initiatives to ensure sustained success.
- Process Optimization: Analyze and optimize operations processes and workflows using CI tools, including but not limited to Value Stream Mapping, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, 5 Whys, Gemba. Implement strategies to enhance operations efficiency, reduce cost and improve on quality.
- Establish Standards & Best Practices: Implement Global Operations Standards across all operations, ensuring adherence to standards (E.g. 5S, Labour Management, CI, Process Management). Capture and share best practices using knowledge management techniques.
- Project Management: Lead projects aimed at improving operations/ labour efficiency, cost reduction and quality. Ensure that projects are delivered on time, in scope with intended outcomes.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Develop and maintain dashboards on KPIs for Ops Excellence. Provide timely and accurate reports to senior management, with insights to influence key Ops Excellence decisions.
- Training and Development: Develop and facilitate Lean maturity training (E.g. 5S, PDCA) at all levels of the organization. Foster a culture of continuous learning for a future ready work force.
- Mentor and Coaching: Coach employees on Lean and CI to enhance daily operations and CI projects/ activities.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Maintain strong relations with cross-functional teams and all organization levels to ensure alignment on operations improvements and strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics/Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field
- Certified Lean Practitioner or Six Sigma Green Belt is an added advantage
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in operations excellence, continuous improvement or process optimization within logistics supply chain, or manufacturing industries. Experience in contract logistics is a plus.
- Proven experience in managing multiple CI projects simultaneously to deliver tangible improvements.
- Experience in digitalization and automation (E.g. PowerApps, PowerAutomate etc.) is a significant advantage.
- Demonstrated experience in training and workshop facilitation for CI methodologies.
- Team player with strong stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Self-starter with a positive mindset, adaptability, and a desire for continuous learning
