Through direct interaction with drivers, determine maintenance and/or mechanical related issues with equipment and create descriptive repair information for repairing technician.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Interpret driver issues and create descriptive repair information for repairing technician.
• Schedule service and repairs in the shop through consultation with the shift supervisor.
• Monitor and report estimated time of completion for driver and Operations.
• Create and update purchase orders for parts and units at local vendors.
• Provide prompt and courteous customer service for our driver team members.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Class 8 vehicle equipment.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to deliver exceptional service through positive engagement and patience.
• Ability to work in a team environment to continuously improve results.
• Ability to promote a culture of trust and safety.
WORKING CONDITIONS.
This position will be required to work in a shop environment in which the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration, heat and cold, and increased levels of noise, and
• Constantly positions oneself to operate, inspect, and move up to 60 pounds
• Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard on a daily basis
• Detect, recognize and assess printed text and hand written documents
• Be able to communicate and exchange accurate information.
