    Position Description Summary

    Manage and support day to day IT functions within the warehouse management system (WMS) and implement IT initiatives to driver efficiency and productivity in the warehouse.

    Principal Accountabilities

    • Work with relevant stakeholders (including internal, vendor, and contractor stakeholders) to develop, test, and implement EDI configuration changes to accomplish business objectives.
    • Interface with relevant stakeholders to resolve/improve WMS issues impacting task completion, response time, process control and efficiency.
    • Must be flexible & available to work during on –call hours to support & resolve WMS issues.
    • Responsible for assisting WMS related system upgrade / improvement / testing projects.
    • Extract, analyze, and utilize data to monitor performance and plan improvements in warehouse related to WMS issues.
    • Must be flexible & available to work off-shift hours for special projects as needed.
    • Must be able to create and develop WMS work instructions.
    • Manage day to day IT operations of warehouse and provide first level technical support to the users in the warehouse.
    Knowledge and Skills

    • Diploma in information systems, information technology, computer science an asset.
    • Strong analytical skills and a fast learner.
    • Strong knowledge Microsoft excel.
    • 1 to 2 years of IT experiences in a warehouse with Redprairie WMS and WFM definitely an asset.
    • Must be flexible & available to work off-shift hours for special projects as needed.
