    Responsibilities:

    • Lead the initiation, development, and optimization of Air Freight processes at both strategic and operational levels.
    • Oversee and manage air operating model management, collaborating with regional and local teams to prepare and implement the model.
    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Document and govern global process blueprints.
    • Identify, steer, and implement process automation initiatives in collaboration with regional and global business and IT teams.
    • Facilitate the utilization of standard automation solutions across regions.
    • Create and support the development of reports and dashboards using reporting and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
    • Standardize and govern the development of global dashboards and reports.
    • Collaborate with regions and countries to collect and develop standard use cases related to reporting and analytics.
    • Mentor and develop members of the Processes & Optimization team globally, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
    • Maintain a central knowledge repository for the management and distribution of information as required by Global Air Freight.
    • Provide regular updates to project team members and senior stakeholders on various initiatives.
    • Lead change management communication related to the Air Operating Model and other optimization initiatives.


    Requirements and Skills:

    • University degree in business management, logistics engineering, or a related discipline.
    • Relevant working experience in a large, complex organization.
    • Knowledge and experience in the 3PL/Contract Logistics & Transportation industry.
    • Expertise in lean management, process mapping, agile frameworks, and automation tools.
    • Proficient in English; additional language skills (e.g., German) are an advantage.
    • Excellent social competence and interpersonal skills to manage and communicate effectively in intercultural environments.
    • Strong analytical and methodical skills, accompanied by strategic thinking.
    • Ability to develop, build, and model business concepts and cases.
    • Self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude, able to overcome problems quickly and work independently.
