Forwarder Import

The position

We are looking for an Import Forwarder for our Air Freight location at Schiphol. As a Forwarder you provide the best air freight solutions for our customers.

• You will get started with the following activities:
• You develop and maintain contacts about transports with potential and existing internal customers, foreign branches, and partners
• You contact customers regarding, among other things, defects, delays, and damage and propose solutions that are acceptable to all parties
• You are responsible for invoicing shipments
• You take care of the planning and routing of shipments
• You ensure timely and correct transmission of papers, documents and information to other departments, agents, and branches

Requirements

• A least MBO working and thinking level
• Good command of the English language, spoken and written
• Flexibility regarding working hours
• Good communication and commercial skills, a proactive attitude
