    This is a HSSE role reporting to the Head of Operation for APAC. The role is to provide support for APAC countries with the following:

    • Generation of a regional HSSE strategy based on the global guidelines.
    • Implementation of Guidelines and Tasks with the training of site HSSE officers.
    • Coaching and control of site self-assessments for all HSSE issues according to the regional/global guidelines.
    • Assistance of the local and regional contract management team for Pandora in all HSSE questions in the implementation phase.
    • Establishment of a local safety committee and overseeing its activities.
    • Quarterly auditing of sites according to the Pandora global HSSE guidelines and checklists and the Quality Management System (QMS) frequency
    • Carry out of a routine monthly HSSE audit program and tracking the actions in the observation and implementation lists according to the DBS QMS for the respective countries.
       

    Specific Accountabilities:

    • Delivering the monthly reporting of safety, security and other data through the Pandora HSSE reporting system for all sites in the region.
    • Training and maintaining the safety officers on all sites in the region.
    • Reporting of all incidents and explanation of One Pager information leaflets for internal distribution and management information with timely investigations of all incidents in the field of safety, security and behavioral deviations.
    • Knowledge transfer and education of the site staff for a regionally streamlined HSSE operations.
    • Communication of local statistics, educational material, newsletters, and one-pagers to the Pandora site leads.
    • Participation in the Pandora global HSSE guideline generation process by gathering and refining local feedback for the regulation process.
    • Conducting of quarterly regional QMS site audits in the field of HSSE.
    • Carry out of a routine monthly HSSE audit program and tracking the actions in the observation and implementation lists according to the DBS QMS for the respective countries.
    • Feedback of best practices into the local HSSE community and regional HSSE community.
    • On-Site Checks of security system with delegation.
    • Central first stop for the regional Pandora team in all HSSE questions.
    • Regional training concept for emergency response teams and plans. • Maintaining the training matrix and updating the training databases for all staff regionally.
    • Implement Hazard Hunt and General Observation program and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
    • Analyze trend and take preventive measures for continuous risk reduction.

    Skills Required:

    • Strong analytical skills & good with data + statistical analysis.
    • Ability to oversees and reviews HSSE policies, standards, procedures, within the framework of the business of logistics.
    • Good communication with internal & external stakeholders.
    • Problem solving & critical thinking on HSSE topics. • Adaptability & continuous learning on HSSE topics.
    • Ability to engage, challenge stakeholders on HSSE topics.
    • Must be self-starter with positive attitude to overcome problems effectively and able to work under own initiative with minimal supervision.

    Experience and Qualifications:

    • 3 years’ experience in Health Safety, Security & Environment.
    • Minimum bachelor’s degree in relevant fields (ie Occupational Safety & Health).
    • Knowledge of safety regulation, risk assessment techniques & with investigation procedures
