Customer Service Specialist – Perishables
Location: Glasgow
Monday -Friday: 9-17:30
Salary: £30k-£32k depending on experience

We are seeking a Customer Service Specialist - Perishables to deliver efficient and proactive export services to our customers, overseas partners, and service providers. What will you be doing?
- Monitoring and actioning generic email boxes, responding promptly to all inquiries.
- Creating build sheets and providing detailed instructions for handling sheds.
- Organising the call-off of fish for next-day dispatch.
- Using TANGO to produce shipping documentation, including Air Waybills (AWB).
- Preparing export entries in compliance with UK HMRC regulations.
- Managing customer bookings via Google Docs and coordinating with carriers to organise schedules.
- Controlling costs, invoicing files, and managing bookings effectively.
- Investigating and resolving queries or complaints from customers and suppliers, ensuring timely and professional responses.
- Supporting sales and customer service management teams during customer visits.
- Ensuring timely and accurate customer invoicing and rating of all files with clear instructions for the night team.
About You:
- Previous experience in the airfreight industry.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a commitment to excellence.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage high workloads
- A proactive and positive attitude, with a passion for delivering outstanding service.
