Assistance Manager, Pricing

* Ensure Sales/Business Development efforts through preparation of accurate quotations, initiate/follow up on overseas enquiries to ensure rates proposal provided is the best competitive allowing Schenker overseas & Schenker Thai to secure business.
* Participate in contract & price negotiation with carriers as well as various subcontractors.
* Manage team for tender documents preparation -- RFI's, RFQ's and ITB's both technical and commercial proposal. Explore and propose alternative / creative proposals.
* Coordinate inquiries involving ocean freight, airfreight, and logistics with pricing colleague in charge if other services involved with other departments as well.
* Able to manage costing of OOG, Flat rack, Open Top, Break Bulk, Vessel Charter, Heavy Lift
* After business is secured, prepare SOP's and implement project in cooperation with operational staffs.
* Provide guidance and support operations during project execution.

* Coordinate and cooperate with Schenker overseas including providing/follow up of sales
leads and quotations. * Prepare reports for SKR Thai management and RHO/Global project oil & gas management.
* Other duties as assigned by General Manager, Projects Oil & Gas.

* Bachelor's degree or higher required in any field.
* Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in freight forwarding business.
* Strong Negotiation skills.
* Computer literacy (power point, Excel, Word and Outlook) is a must.
* Ability to communicate effectively in Thai and English.
* Inter-company networking skills - team player (ability to work long hours and weekends unsupervised).
* Work under pressure to meet deadlines.
