Senior Project Manager Global Marketing & Communications (f/m/d)

We are looking for you as a Senior Project Manager Global Marketing & Communications (f/m/d) for our Head Office at DB Schenker AG in Essen.

Your tasks:

* You will act as a liaison person to connect the Marketing and Communication ("MarCom") needs of Business Units, Functional Units and Regions with the global MarCom strategy and -resources
* As such, you will on the one hand act as a "Key Account Manager" serving the organizational units and on the other hand implement global MarCom strategies into the organizational units
* You will develop and implement marketing strategies through annual planning of company campaigns and define goals and objectives regarding the DB Schenker business strategy in correlation with the BU/FU/ Regional needs
* Therefore you will develop a clear road map and planning process, create project timelines and budgets and maintain an annual content calendar
* You will be responsible for maintaining and developing the current IT setup for Planning and Solution Development.
* You will collaborate closely with Agencies to help steer our planning and execution process
* The management and development of team capacity in planning tool and the understanding and ability to allocate both human and budgetary resources is in your responsibility
* You will analyse places where there is room for improvement in our efficiencies based on capacity management

Your profile:

* Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) or equivalent
* Proven experience in marketing preferably within the logistics or transportation industry
* In-depth understanding of marketing strategy, marketing planning, project management tools, capacity planning, multichannel marketing, global campaign steering, and marketing trends
* Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate marketing efforts across various channels and steering multiple stakeholders.
* Proficient in project management and the used tools/ software and IT set ups for project management
* Excellent PowerPoint, Excel, and Word skills with a focus on formatting and design
* Effective communication, leadership skills and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, and senior management up to C-Level
