    Your tasks

    Purpose
    * Ensuring the availability of appropriate instruments for the implementation of Good Distribution Practice (GDP) requirements according to WHO and EU guidelines. These instruments are designated to assist in preventing falsified medicines from entering the legal supply chain. Compliance with GDP requirements is intended to ensure control of the distribution chain and consequently maintain the quality and integrity of medicinal products according to customer requirements.
    * Drive continuous improvement initiatives in alignment with Schenker's Healthcare quality vision and mission.

    Main Tasks

    Accountable
    * Has defined authority, resources and responsibility needed to fulfil the duties
    * Focuses on the management activities (e.g drive GDP implementation project on a regional level). Keeps appropriate records of any delegated duties.
    * Implementing and maintaining the global GDP (HealthCare) Quality Management System (QMS) for air, ocean, and land freight according to WHO and EU guidelines on regional/local levels and in compliance with regional/local laws and regulations.
    * Support the creation, review, and continuous development of local GDP QMS documentation and training material.
    * Management of the branch GDP RPs functionally.
    * Collect and consolidate branch management reviews and communication with global GDP RPs and regional management in alignment with air, ocean, and land business units.
    * Monitor, interpret, and analyse the impact of regional/local regulations and standards related to GDP and provide guidance for implementing processes.
    * Perform risk analysis and then ensure appropriate actions (e.g. CAPA) are taken to mitigate risks; inform Regional and Global management of potential risks, liabilities and required actions.
    * GDP escalation level for cluster/countries.

    Responsible
    * Attendance of regional customer business review meetings as needed.
    * Preparation and attendance of regional customer GDP audits.
    * Regional customer quality agreements review and approval.
    * Preparation and execution of subcontractor audits
    * Approval of GDP compliant subcontractors (including regular audits), GDP relevant equipment/facilities and processes.
    * Ensure certification audit readiness & recertification regional.
    * Execute and support self-inspections and facilitate external/customer audits.
    * Monitoring of cluster/country/branch actions to maintain the global and local GDP Quality Management System.

    Requirements

    * At least 8 years of business experience, in the international logistics/transportation field, with a strong quality management background and business development exposure.
    * Strong understanding and experience within the Healthcare and Aid and relief industry with solid knowledge of regulatory requirements of pharma and healthcare within the supply chain.
    * Relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent (preferred)
    * Relevant quality certifications
    * Detailed knowledge of logistic services (Ocean, Air, Land and Contract Logistics) and understanding of supply chain management in specific industry segments
    * High degree of work flexibility and willingness to travel
    * Leadership skills, ability to drive business success through virtual teams
    * Strategic and conceptual thinking with good problem-solving skills
    * Ability to handle/manage conflicts with internal and external parties
    * Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across cultures and geographies
