    Join our team as a Finance Administrator!

    Maternity Cover 12 month contract

    We are currently seeking a highly skilled Finance Administrator to join our team to cover a maternity leave where you will play a pivotal role in processing all account cost transactions through customer files. Your primary objective will be to ensure meticulous attention to detail, guaranteeing accurate profit/loss per file in a timely manner. By diligently managing these financial aspects, you will contribute significantly to the efficient closure of files, thereby enhancing operational effectiveness and client satisfaction.

    Location: Ballycoolin or Shannon

    Fixed term: 12 months

    Hours: 0900 - 1730

    Working: Hybrid

    What Will You Be Doing?

    • Reconcile invoices to shipment level in Operational systems.
    • Develop reporting for accurate billing to customers.
    • Reconcile balance sheet GL and close out line items continuously.
    • Collaborate with operations teams for invoicing accuracy.
    • Track and resolve refunds with operations.
    • Perform month-end SAP reconciliation.
    • Download TMS reports for shipment revenue and costs.
    • Post accrual journals and monthly adjustments.
    • Download SAP reports.
    • Use Excel queries to reconcile data from TMS and SAP.
    • Resolve discrepancies between systems for accurate month-end profit calculation.

    Requirements

    About You

    • Advanced Excel skills, with some knowledge of queries
    • Collaborative team member with a drive for advancement, ideally with an accounts admin background
    • Strong interpersonal abilities, ideally with experience in freight forwarding
    • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with an accounting qualification being advantageous
    • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
