Customer Service Specialists -Ocean Freight Exports
Location: Manchester (Hybrid, Mon-Tue Office)
Hours: Mon- Fri 9-17:30
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service? We’re recruiting for our Ocean Freight team in Manchester and looking for a Customer Service Specialist - Exports to join us. What will you be doing?
- Building strong relationships with customers through effective communication and support.
- Proactively managing workflows to meet customer deadlines and expectations.
- Investigating and resolving customer queries promptly and professionally.
- Monitoring Gross Profit (GP) post-shipment across all transport modes.
- Supporting the implementation of new customer profiles and processes.
- Participating in customer meetings and identifying business efficiencies with your team leader.
- Ensuring all pricing and quotations are completed accurately and on time.
About You
- Strong administration skills with proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Finance knowledge or experience is a bonus.
- Freight forwarding knowledge would be beneficial ideally within Ocean Freight
- A positive attitude, motivation, and enthusiasm for customer service excellence.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative.
