Specific Tasks and Responsibilities
Import - Agents Buy Permit
- Load buy permit into WFS
- Create shipment in ProCarS from start to end
- Fill invoice preparation for billing
- Fill in shipment details in WFS
- Retrieve invoices and send to forwarder/consignee
Import - Shipment Creation
- Retrieve shipment from SWORD in ProCarS
- Ensure data in ProCarS tallies with HAWB/Invoice Job Level
- Enter billing charges
- Enter details into WFS
- Trigger Printing of Documents
- Inform counterpart once done
Import - Transshipment
- Upload documents in WFS
- Retrieve shipment from SWORD in ProCarS or shipment creation
- Ensure ProCarS information tallies with HAWB/Invoice and send documents for printing
- Inform counterpart once done.
Export - Execution of HAWBs
- Enter booking number into ProCarS and check if shipper/consignee addresses and dimensions are correct
- Enter accounting, handling and additional information if required.
Export - Ensure Accurate Execution of Shipping Instruction
- Check if rates in ProCarS tally with rates in Shipping Instruction and amend if necessary.
- Manage relationship with stakeholders through regular engagement and handling of day to day transactions.
- Train new members and conduct process refresher/alignment training.
Primary Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of a bachelor’s degree in any Business Field
- Has Background in the Freight Forwarding Industry. Knows Air Operations is a plus.
- Communicates effectively (verbal and written)
- High attention to detail
- Team Player
- Can prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Good coordination skills and task/process oriented
- Flexible and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Confident in Speaking with Foreign Counterparts.
- Engages the team and others in the organization
- Contributes to Process Improvement
- Has experience in a Shared Service of the same industry
- Understands Logistic and Freight Forwarding terms and is familiar with Shipping Documents
