Job Overview
At Schenker International S.A. de C.V. we are looking for a System Analyst to be part of our IT team, who will be responsible for maintenance and support of Warehouse Management System (WMS) for Region Americas.
What will be your challenges?
- Support and manage WMS across applicable facilities.
- Design, build, and implement functional and technical solutions which meet requirements.
- Coordinates work performed through internal customers or business partners by defining project requirements, performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments.
- Performs functional analysis, requirements, definition and system configuration and testing.
- Proficiently applies IT methods, professional knowledge and ITIL standards and practices to complex tasks and solution.
- Lead and actively participate in all phases of system implementation project including requirements gathering, functional and technical design, system design and development, testing, roll-out and post go-live production support.
- Coordinate ongoing maintenance, changes, and updates to WMS, along with additional warehouse changes including automation and interfaces with the WMS.
- Develop test cases and plans to complete the unit testing.
- Trains Super Users on system and related device usage.
- Provides ongoing troubleshooting, support, and maintenance of application.
What you need to succeed (Qualifications, experience, skills, attributes)
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience.
- Experience with warehouse management system.
- Advanced Working SQL Query/Programming skills.
- General knowledge about EDI interfaces.
- Warehousing or Logistics Industry experience.
- ITSM tool usage experience i.e. Service Now, Remedy, JIRA etc. for Incident, Problem, Re-quest & Change Management.
- Experience in supporting users onsite.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High flexibility and ability to deal with high pressure situations.
- Experience gained by working for a Global company.
- Provision of high-quality service to customers both internal & external.
- Fluent Business English (written and spoken).
