With profound sadness and a sense of great loss we had to say goodbye far too soon to our director Jaap Bruining, CEO DB Schenker Benelux, on May 17, 2024. Jaap joined DB Schenker on May 9, 2022 and quickly became an integral part of our company. His leadership, dedication and vision inspired us all. We will always remember Jaap as an approachable and quick-minded CEO and colleague, who valued diverse perspectives and had a great sense of humor. He will be missed as a leader, colleague and friend.
