DB Schenker and Ford collaborate for a ground-breaking ceremony of a state-of-the-art 42,000 sqm parts distribution center

DB Schenker, a global leader in logistics and transportation solutions and Ford, one of the world’s leading automotive manufacturers, collaborated with the ground-breaking ceremony of a cutting-edge 42,000 sqm Parts Distribution Center. This strategic partnership marks a significant milestone in the evolution of automotive logistics, showcasing commitment to efficiency, sustainability, and seamless supply chain solutions.

The ground-breaking ceremony was held at Dubai Logistics District, part of Dubai World Central (DWC), with operations scheduled to commence in January 2025. Ako Djaf, Vice President of Contract Logistics and SCM at DB Schenker in the Middle East and Africa, and Ravi Ravichandran, President of Ford Middle East, were joined by senior executives from Dubai South Free Zone Authority and Atlantic Warehouse DWC during the ceremony.
