We want to strengthen our in-house technical engineering capabilities with the addition of a new team member with the following global responsibilities and tasks:
- To support the business in producing:
- Engineering Studies and Feasibility Studies
- Infrastructure Analysis & Designs (upgrades, beach landings, bypasses)
- Work Method Statements
- Transport Manuals & Execution Plans
- Land Transport Load Plans (road, rail)
- Lifting Plans
- Stowage & Sea fastening Calculations
- Lashing Plans
- To provide the business with skilled engineering:
- Stability calculations
- Motion behavior analysis
- Marine operation analysis
- Skidding and load transfer operation calculations
- Strength evaluation of vessels
- Time studies and operability
- To ensure the highest HSE standards and Risk Management procedures are observed in planning and executing operational activities.
- To participate in technical meetings with clients’ engineering and construction teams.
- To collaborate closely with subcontractors and partners in defining solutions.
- To attend and supervise loading/discharging operations as and when required.
- To support with technical documentation for RFI/RFQ/Tender submissions and in case of business award support implementation and operation during entire project life cycle.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in transport and/or marine engineering.
- Qualified to degree level in an Engineering discipline.
- Proven skills in Project Management, HSE and Risk Management.
- Strong organizational and planning skills. Detail oriented. Good Interpersonal skills.
- Skilled in AutoCAD. Proficient with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Power Point, Teams).
- Willingness to travel and work globally as required.
