To manage the maintenance operations of assigned terminal for the purpose of maximizing vehicle uptime, controlling costs, improving shop efficiency, and workforce retention
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Achieve preventative maintenance goals
• Implement and maintain maintenance processes as per company policy
• Improve vehicle uptime through efficient repair practices
• Achieve 95% PM currency or better
• Conduct frequent shop audits, inspecting safety, cleanliness, and ensure work flow remains steady
• Effectively manage assigned shop operation in accordance with financial goals
• Monitor warranty filings and collections for assigned shop location
• Develop management and technical skills of maintenance personnel in assigned shop location
• Promote safe work environment and repair practices in assigned shop location
• Monitor parts and tire inventory for proper levels and usage
• Reduce workforce turnover by improving employee relations
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of three years of experience managing a maintenance facility
• Knowledge of DOT standards of repairs and maintenance preferred
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations regarding terminal facility preferred
• Available for occasional travel

WORKING CONDITIONS
This position will be required to work in a shop environment in which the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration, heat and cold, and increased levels of noise, and
• Constantly positions oneself to operate, inspect, and move up to 60 pounds,
• manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard on a daily basis,
• detect, recognize and assess printed text and hand written documents,
• be able to communicate and exchange accurate information.
