Certain Electronic Equipment Currently Excluded from Reciprocal Tariffs
Late on Friday night, April 11, 2025, CBP posted CSMS #64724565, with additional HTS numbers excluded from reciprocal tariffs retroactively to April 5, 2025.
In general terms, computers, computer parts, monitors, flat panel display modules, smartphones, certain storage devices, certain machines like switching and routing apparatus, and machines for the manufacture of semiconductor articles are excluded. Certain
semiconductor devices and electronic integrated circuits were listed in the CSMS message but were previously on the Annex II list.

We understand over the weekend there were reports in the media that additional tariffs will be placed on some articles when the announcement is made regarding semiconductor tariffs. We will continue to monitor this fluid and fast-changing environment and provide updates as official government communications are issued. In the meantime, we are working to identify entries that were previously transmitted and eligible for amendment.
