    Global IT Land and Digital Solutions is the IT department responsible for the efficient and digitized development and operation of worldwide DB Schenker Land transport. Our IT solutions support business processes along the entire value chain from quotation to billing.


    We constantly work on finding optimal IT solutions and accompany their productive implementation in DB Schenker’s national subsidiaries. TMS Ecosystem Rollout revolves around business and IT transformation globally within the Land Transport division.


    We are looking for a flexible and agile team player to lead and support the business transformation of the local processes and systems into the new GILDS ecosystem. In the role of a program manager, you will primarily be responsible for building and coordinating new structures supporting effective planning and supporting transformation in Clusters.

    You will coordinate cooperation between the Program Board, Steering Committee, and Clusters, including program board organization and decision communication. You will own the vision and are responsible for the program organization activities.

    The Program Management role will require close contact with both IT and Business partners.


    Responsibilities

    • Implementation and management of the GILDS ecosystem / STAR Program, including the following:
    • Defining program goal and vision;
    • defining and setting up program structure in IT and Business areas;
    • defining and setting up program processes i.e., reports and relevant standards;
    • maintaining program roadmap;
    • financial program management;
    • identifying and managing risks associated with the program;
    • maintaining documentation of the program;
    • developing program processes;
    • providing regular updates on program status;
    • tracking program KPIs.
    • Organising the GILDS ecosystem program board activities, including the following:
    • Organising program board meetings;
    • documenting and communicating program board decisions;
    • documenting and communicating changes and escalations.
    • Operational management including the following:
    • Collecting and maintaining status reports from the Steering Committee;
    • managing feedback and decision providing to stakeholders.

    Qualifications:


    • Completed bachelor’s degree in a subject area relevant to the task, such as Business Informatics, or a comparable education with corresponding professional experience.
    • At least 3-5 years of proven experience in IT project management.
    • Experience in managing projects including project management methodologies.
    • Good organisational skills, flexibility, and the willingness to familiarise yourself with new topics and to improve their content.
    • Fluent in written and oral English (business language); further language skills are an advantage.
    • Good (user) knowledge of Microsoft Office and agile tools such as MIRO, JIRA/ Confluence, or ServiceNow.
