Leads and directs an existing management team including CLMs and CLMIIs that supports drivers and customers in a dedicated on-site environment, responsible for approximately 40 – 125 total drivers.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Monitors and audits financial functions including driver payroll, customer invoices, accounts receivables and P&L accuracy, formulating improvement plans as needed
• Weekly contact with the Customer and the Customer’s transportation departments via phone call and in person to discuss feedback and future operations planning
• Manage and Oversee various standard reports, KPI’s, Customer Scorecards, and QBR’s
• Collaborate with HR to develop driver recruiting and retention plans
• Work with cross functional teams in procurement and maintenance to ensure assets are in USAT and DOT compliance
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in the transportation industry
• 2+ years of experience utilizing MS Excel or other data manipulation software
• Working Knowledge of transportation management software and on-board technology
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Experience leading others
• Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR), Hours of Service, and Compliance, Safety, Accountability (CSA)
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
WORKING CONDITIONS
This position will be required to work in an office environment with moderate noise levels, and, with or without reasonable accommodation is required to:
• Occasional after hours and weekend support required.
• Remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
• Frequently operate a computer for extended periods of time and regularly operate other office productivity machines.
• Occasionally ascend/descend stairs and move up to 20 pounds of office objects.
• Frequently communicate with peers, supervisors, third parties, and other employees to exchange accurate information and answer questions.
• Occasionally attend meetings in buildings outside corporate office and at off-site locations with various internal conditions, and requiring travel in various external conditions.
• Travel domestically as necessary 15-25%.
