Responsible for leading a competitive sales cycle for ISC products (Order Management and Freight Management) with an accountability to win quota amount of TEU and hit a GP target, including direct accountability to solution design and proposal and RFQ responses. Form working protocols with field sales and key account teams to promote the ISC products, nurture multipliers that can generate further leads and opportunities for business growth. Partner with the head of ISC control tower to define retention plans and drive organic growth with existing accounts.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
• Accountable to win target TEU quota and GP target
• Establish customer contact and rapport to maintain awareness of customer’s business objectives in conjunction with ongoing account maintenance.
• Utilize customer knowledge to develop additional or new opportunities for Ocean ISC
• Qualify inquiries/bids against target market, core competency, revenue potential, company capabilities, and projected business forecast
• Manage RFP/Tender process to include solution design concepts, deadlines, supply added information, presentation, process/status tracking
• Responsible for directing contractual negotiations and assisting/participating in the negotiations as necessary.
• Maintain commercial accountability to won business through their life cycle.
• Partner with the head of control tower and assigned program manager to create 3 year strategic action plans for customer retention and expansion
• Maintain and develop a working knowledge of competitive market analysis in the areas of commercial, operational and technical best practices, including identification of white spots in DBS product portfolio.
• Follow up on customer’s implementation, ensuring scope of work is understood and implemented to meet customer’s expectations.
