Your tasks
Responsibilities:
- Assesses incoming Ocean Freight tenders with low to medium complexity level and pricing requests including RFQ handling under supervision & consultancy.
- Reviews pricing received from the regions / countries / ocean freight product teams in order to secure high quality and competitive submissions to the customers as well as conducts final quality and formula checks.
- Pricing / Proposal preparation as well as final verification and benchmarking in alignment with the involved regions / countries.
- Consults with Head of Ocean Pricing & Respective Supervisor for final pricing decisions.
Qualifications:
- Experienced in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.)
- Knowledge and understanding of international logistics operations with an emphasis on ocean freight.
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve required tasks & targeted results.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional matrix and virtual environment.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Communication skills supported by customer-oriented attitude.
