Duties may include

Competencies and Skills required:
- Leadership Skills - Experience and ability to manage people ideally within Warehousing/Logistics
- Target and Results Focused - ability to ensure daily KPI’s are met
- Outstanding communication skills –Written and verbal.
- Proven Continuous Improvement and problem solving skills
- Experience using a Warehouse Management System and RF scanners
- Intermediate computer skills (MS Word, Excel etc)
- Sound knowledge of Material Handling Equipment and Warehouse Management System
- Previous Experience in a warehouse environment particularly in the areas of receiving, dispatch and stock control

THE ROLE
We are seeking a Logistics Team Leader to join our busy team.
This position is required to lead and oversee a team of logistics floor or administration employees to ensure the following tasks are maintained: Ensure work is undertaken in a thorough and timely way. Ensure orders are dispatched in a timely manner. Ensure reporting is completed, on a daily basis and / or as needed. To determine and implement the most effective methods for performing the specific function of this position within the customers guidelines. Determine priority order/tasks Ensure clear concise information flow both upwards and downwards. Ensure involvement of team in meeting’s. Ensure alignment with the GDP and GWP for pharmaceutical goods. Ensure GDP manual is up to date and adhered to at operational level.
