- Maintain and update claims activity in system - Webclaims
- Liaise externally with relevant DB Schenker stakeholders, to reduce financial exposures and maintain an efficient claims handling process.
- Provide reporting and feedback to all stakeholders on cargo loss and damage exposure.
- Maintain consistent financial data on all FF &TP claims factors and provide guidance on appropriate P&L reserves.
- Consciously maintain a customer focus mindset all throughout “Claims” activities.
- Handle and execute Healthcare/Pharma shipments (documentation) as per organizational guidelines, customer requirements and GDP Principles.
- Participate actively on all required team meetings.
- Performs other duties as assigned by direct superiors and managers.
- Compliance with the work procedures & data privacy
- Previous experience in 3PL customer relationship
- Previous experience in Claims and or Supply Chain/ Freight Forwarding industry.
- Advanced computer literacy
- Effective written communication skills.
- Efficient & effective data management skills.
- Good Interpersonal skills.
- An ability to work and manage issues independently.
- Eager to learn and develop.
- A clear and thorough understanding of international transport conventions; (an advantage)
- Strong background on Claims analysis or interpret contractual obligations; (an advantage)
