    At Schenker Panamá we are looking for an Ocean Coordinator (Export) to be part of our team in our office of Panamá, who will be responsible for the coordination of maritime and land export shipments, both intact containers and loose cargo, in accordance with the company's standards and guidelines.

     

    What will be your challenges?

     

    • Coordinate land and sea export shipments according to sales or destination office instructions.
    • Registration in the system, billing, payments and reservations, land and sea.
    • Reception, analysis of the required service, verification of the information provided by the source (Sales or destination).
    • Instructions for positioning equipment with the carrier and/or collection of the cargo.
    • Preparation of documents, waybill/BL and land manifest, DMCE of entry or exit if necessary and DUCA in the case of land FTL.
    • Create shipment in TANGO and load the corresponding daily events.
    • Coordination of transports, customs procedures, cargo insurance and other value-added services that the client may request.
    • Be the only contact for customer service in response to all requests that are submitted and follow up on each shipment.
    • Coordinate the withdrawal of releases / messaging.
    • Direct contact with suppliers to coordinate deliveries.

    What you need to succeed (Qualifications, experience, skills, attributes)


    • At least 2 years of experience in Foreign trade, handling of import and export documents for different types of cargo (dangerous, perishable, etc.).
    • Knowledge of national and international regulations on the traffic of goods.
    • Management of application of INCOTERMS; scope, limitations and the responsibilities of the Company towards clients and subsidiaries.
    • Knowledge of Land traffic, customs and manifest.
    • Knowledge reefer charges.

     

    Competences:

    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in multicultural teams.
    • Team player, able to operate in a changing environment.
    • Problem-solving profile.
    • Fluent Business English (written and spoken).
