MHE Operator I 3rd Shift (11:00p to 7:00a)

Responsible for pulling orders, prepping for outbound shipment, loading and unloading freight accurately, inspection and other warehouse related duties. Ensure all products are accurately pulled and over-packed correctly to customer expectations. Tasks & Responsibilities: • Safely operate forklift and other material handling equipment (MHE) including sit down, reach truck, cherry picker, layer pick, etc. • Load inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers • Accurately pull orders based on location, part number, batch and quantity • Placard, weigh, and record dimensions on appropriate paperwork • Sort outbound freight based on carrier lane assignments • Over-box pallets, wrap pallets and strap pallets in preparation for shipment • Perform cleanup activities in the work area to ensure safety and cleanliness of dock • Keeping shipping supplies organized and communication on supply needs • Daily forklift inspection sheet completed prior to operation of forklift • Complete other duties or tasks as assigned

Details/Specification/Explanation of the role specific skills: This is an intermediate level position. Good interpersonal skills required. High school diploma or equivalent required. Generally, prefer 1-4 years of experience. Must be familiar with OSHA regulations, able to operate a variety of equipment such as a forklift and a computer, and have strong organizational, inventory and accounting skills. Physical requirements include, but are not limited to pushing, pulling, lifting varying weights up to 50+lbs. We are an equal opportunity employer.
