- Manages the local operational support of local IT services in Saudi Arabia (i.e., applications, user hardware and network/infrastructure).
- Manages local infrastructure project implementation in accordance with the global standards, including which budgeting, timeline, and vendor management.
- Manages vendors which provide infrastructure services to the locations.
- Identifies and leads infrastructure optimization initiatives.
- Ensures compliance with head office and regional requirements in IT policies (especially security).
- Deals with local business stakeholders in terms of infrastructure service level requirements.
- Leads the change and transformation within her/his unit and establishing of measurable individual and team objectives that are aligned with business and GIS strategy and goals.
- Manages all services, employees, and costs within his/her unit; provides effective leadership and management to staff which promotes high performance standards both individually and as a team.
- Sets up and conducts resource planning, allocation of resources for projects and/or services, prioritization of tasks, as well as budget planning, controlling and activities to keep the team budget.
- Bachelor’s degree in related technical/business areas or equivalent work experience
- Preferably has 5-7 years of relevant technical and business experience in the area of IT infrastructure operations and support
- Requires experience in supervising and building relationships with people at a variety of levels
- High flexibility and willingness to travel domestically
- Fluent in English language skills
