Responsible for the management of programs or large projects within agreed parameters of cost, time, and scope/quality, typically (but not exclusively) involving the delivery IT solutions, services, or products to satisfy business demands and requirements, utilising the necessary project resources and skills and leading the assigned project teams
Tasks and responsibilities
- Manage multiple, partially strategic projects in parallel in IT Contract Logistics
- Create time, resource and cost plans, further relevant project management plans and, if applicable, manage project changes
- Control the project regarding time, quality/scope, budget (incl. resources) and identifying (actual and potential) deviations from the project’s baseline, (if necessary) execute counter measures and/or update project management plans (e.g., in case of approved change requests)
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks
- Achieve the defined project output within agreed parameters of cost/budget/time and scope/quality, manage creation of respective deliverables
- Regularly inform project stakeholders about project status and, if applicable, escalate and call for steering
- Ensures definition and set up all project internal processes, procedures, and relevant project standards (e.g., controlling, safeguarding quality of deliverables, documentation) in compliance with applicable policies, guidelines, and rules (e.g., PM@Schenker) and applicable delivery approaches (e. g. waterfall, agile)
- Ensures that projects are formally closed (e.g., hand-over of project deliverables to line organization, execution of project reviews, creating lessons-learned reports and archiving relevant project information, requesting approval of project closure)
- Provide effective leadership to the project team, and takes appropriate action where team performance deviates from agreed tolerances
- Willingness to travel 20%
- Experience in Contract Logistics
- Study to university degree level
- At least 5 years of IT project management experience, project management certification is required (e.g. PMP)
- Project Management methodologies and frameworks (PMP / PRINCE2 / SCRUM / Kanban)

- 1 year contract (with possibility to extended it)
