    Key Tasks:

    • Operate and develop a framework to ingest, merge, and post-process data from data lake for Airfreight
    • Consult and collaborate with Business Analysts and IT&D AO Delivery Cluster Data and Integration
    • Monitor performance, drive quality standards, and drive continuous improvement for data processing and related activities
    • Maintain and drive consistent documentation of business logics, data flows, data aggregation logics and measure definitions


    Tasks & Responsibilities: 

    • Operate the “Air Data Cloud” for the ingestion, merging, and post-processing of business data
    • Design and maintain scalable business data pipelines
    • Integrate business data from various internal and external sources
    • Implement, comply with, and enforce standard data/measure definitions based on requirements
    • Implement data processing scripts 
    • Monitor performance and drive continuous improvements
    • Collaborate on standardization and quality assurance 
    • Setup and monitor Power-Bi-Service for “Air Data Cloud”
    • Provide and monitor data feeds
    • Monitor reports, premium capacity metrics and drive resolution of refresh and performance issues with required stakeholders 
    • Ensure high data quality in collaboration with business requestor
    • Implement and monitor Row-Level-Security framework
    • Drive continuous improvement (stability, resilience, performance) in front- and back-end utilizing insights generated from daily operations, log files and incident reviews
    • Maintain and drive consistent documentation 
    • Development, monitoring/recovery process
    • Published on a collaboration platform (i.e., confluence, intranet)

    To be successful in the above role, the incumbent should possess/ display the following key skills/ attributes:

    Experience

    • Minimum 5 years job experience in technical data architecture (cloud analytics) 
    • Experience in Forwarding, Transportation or Logistics Industry (would be a plus) 


    Skills

    • Proficient in SQL, Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service concepts and workspace admin
    • Experience with Azure Services (especially Data Factory, Databricks, Log Analytics Workspace, Data Lake Storage) or comparable cloud services  
    • Experience with Confluence/Jira, Power BI premium capacity monitoring and other power platform features would be a plus
    • Analytical skills and structured approach, detail-oriented mentality and data-driven 
    • Monitoring, debugging and problem-solving experience  
    • Proactive, result oriented and customer focused 
    • Team spirit and excellent communication & networking skills 
    • Business proficient English
