DB Schenker TSC Nanjing Children Care 2019Y Activity - IT'S EASY TO HELP was held on 20th July 2019 with a great success!
There were nearly 40 families attending this activity and all of them enjoyed themselves and showed big enthusiasm to this event. We had fantastic company CSR introduction round first at the beginning and then ice-breaking games made all families feel closer.
After lunch and rest time, the Charity Auction and Flea Market was held and all of children and adults enjoyed themselves to the fullest. Finally, total 15200 yuan was collected from this activity and employees’ donation.
As a long-term program, TSC Nanjing CSR has organized Children Care Program three times since 2016. In this year, the theme IT’S EASY TO HELP is aimed to let colleagues and their children know even little kids can do something by their own to help other children or orphans. During the charity activity, we’ve verified that we’ve verified that IT’S EASY TO HELP is not just a slogan, but also a truth that we adults and children can help others easily.
On 15th August 2019, 15 volunteers had visited the Nanjing Children Welfare Institution with our donations. We used the donation money to purchase some daily necessities for orphans like milk powder, baby diapers, baby wet wipes. The Nanjing Children Welfare Institution highly appreciated our company continuously efforts and love for the orphans, whose living conditions have been improved a lot with our help and donations. By this visiting and communication with the institution officers, we have gained a deeper understanding of the children’s situation and what we can do for them in the future.
