Exciting! TSC Nanjing has been shortlisted as "Excellence in Environment & Conservation" in 2020 Cooperate Social Responsibility Awards by the European Chamber of Commerce in China (EUCCC). This is the 3rd time for us to be nominated, but it is our first time to make a breakthrough in environment-protecting field of CSR initiatives.
This award is a great recognition of TSC Nanjing’s long-term persistence in environment conservation. Since 2017, we have initiated different environmental protection activities every year, including:
- Green Day - 3km Health Run (2017),
- Go Green serial activities (2017),
- Tree Planting activity (2018),
- Environment Lecture on Garbage Classification (2019).
This year, EUCCC holds the 7th edition of Corporate Social Responsibility Awards. Its purpose is to acknowledge CSR successes and raise sustainability awareness. Our TSC Nanjing team felt honored to be part of it, share our experience with other companies in CSR field, and make contribution to public welfare together.
Beside “Green” – the environmental protection topic, TSC Nanjing's CSR program also contains other three topics and they are “Stray Animal Shelter Activity”, “Children Care” and “Sale for Love”. All these topics have been run by our employee self-organized CSR committee since 2016. The committee members initiate various activities every year, to encourage more and more employees to make commitment to our society and environment.
