[Specific accountabilties]
- Supervision and direction of warehouse labour in various functional areas, such as receiving, picking and packing, inventory control and shipping, Quality inspection
- Receipt issue, storage, handling and transport of materials and the courteous interaction with customers
- Verify the accuracy of inbound shipments and the quantities arriving into the facility
- Other duties include cycle counting, data entry and filing as the job necessitates
- Pulling, processing and shipping, Quality inspection of customer orders against established service agreements
- Must be willing to participate in alternate shifts
- Diligent care of warehouse handling equipment
- Use of handheld and scanner devices
[Skill Required]
- Proficiency with the current MS Office and IT applications, preferably familiarity with WMS/ERP systems
- Reasonable English language skills to communicate with int. customers
- Strong organizational, inventory and accounting skills required
[Experience and Qualification]
- Supervisory position with experience in warehouse supervision preferred and/or warehouse operations; generally prefer a minimum 3 years experience in warehouse operations
- Forklift certified and able to operate a variety of material handling equipment such as a forklift, reach truck, order picker etc
