    The Global Trade Management Team is responsible for the overall management and optimization of the ocean freight trade lane activities. This includes carrier management as well as volume growth strategies. The team is responsible for procurement, carrier relationship management, but also fostering ocean business development and yield optimization as well as development of related tools, information management and similar.

    Trade Support is part of the Global Trade Management Team and supports the assigned trade lane.


    Your tasks:

    * Development of our ocean product in terms of buying rates, capacity and carrier mix

    * Familiarization of the Ocean Procurement strategy and process and subsequent execution

    * Development of dependable carrier relationships

    * Follow up on Carrier & Cluster Budgets/targets

    * Ensure proper Performance and Adherence to Contracts/Agreements enabling execution of Trade Lane strategy 

    * Monitor closely customers contract fulfilment 

    * Provide and manage sufficient Allocation (seasonal-dynamic) in line with planning and regional requirements 

    * Support Carrier Quality KPI’s and provide input on deviations (i.e., data accuracy, invoice quality, in time availability of information etc.) 

    * Rate Administration: Updating and maintaining RCM, FAK, NAC, and BAF rates.

    * Market Intelligence: Collect information from networks, carriers, and customers, and prepare holistic trade insights using business analytics for business improvement.


    Your profile:


    • DAV or similar forwarding, supply chain management education.
    • Good knowledge of ocean freight and logistics.
    • Proficient in MS Windows applications.
    • Proficiency in English and German.
