- Posting of incoming payable vouchers.
- Ensure completeness of all incoming and outgoing vouchers - and timely closure of cost control activities.
- Timely execution of month-end closing activities.
- Handle related internal communication with the stakeholders.
- Verify incoming vendor invoices against existing cost accruals in TMS (TANGO).
- Request responsible operational departments to create missing cost accruals in TMS (TANGO).
- Request responsible operational departments to manage and resolve discrepancies.
- Posting of incoming vouchers in TMS (TANGO).
- Monitor and resolve non-posted incoming vouchers (alert voucher locater) in TMS (TANGO).
- Clean up 'forced Inter Company' postings in TMS (TANGO) - as applicable.
- Receive and/or upload relevant documents to digital archive (ODM) - as applicable.
- Ensure invoices are created in TMS (TANGO) by relevant operational departments for non-invoiced or incompletely invoiced job files.
- Ensure an explanation from relevant operational departments is formally recorded for all job files showing a loss.
- Follow up with relevant operational departments on unbalanced pass through amounts to ensure amounts are balanced.
- Set cost control status in TMS (TANGO) to “checked” after completed review.
- Deletion of cost accruals in TMS (TANGO) - as applicable.
- Perform month-end closing activities and reporting as per Operational Accounting SOP.
- Monitor late billing reports and follow up with Operations to improve invoice timeliness KPIs.
- Set cost control status in TMS (TANGO) to “closed" after completed review.
- Complete activity "Audit Cost Control" in TMS (TANGO) - as applicable.
- Ability to multi-task
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Fluency in written and spoken Arabic language is an advantage
