The Role
We are looking for a motivated team player to join our Air Freight team as a Customer Service Representative in Auckland. In this fixed-term role, you will play a crucial part in fostering a positive relationship with a globally renowned tech customer, acting as a key liaison between customer contact, operations and sales.
Role Highlights:
- Provide timely support to a key Air Freight customer in order to ensure that DB Schenker consistently meets customer requirements and expectations
- Coordinate customer shipments, monitoring until delivered to the destination in line with agreed service levels
- Look for new and innovative ways to reduce costs and increase profitability for the company
- Resolve customer complaints as quickly as possible to ensure longevity of the customer relationship
- Assist with resolving invoice queries and pre-alert customers to extra-ordinary charges as required
The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for a candidate with excellent customer service skills and previous experience working in freight forwarding or logistics. You will have a highly service-oriented mindset and strong communication skills, both written and verbal. With at least 2+ years in customer service, you will have the proven ability to influence and manage relationships with key customers in order to foster a positive customer experience with DB Schenker.
