    Key tasks & responsibilities   


    • Lead process re-engineering, improvement, and gap analysis of current/to-be processes during workshops or tactical interaction with Operations. 
    • Developing required documentation such as workshop agenda, presentations, gap analysis reports, process flow diagrams, roles/responsibilities. 
    • Identifying areas of process improvement (efficiency and effectiveness) and recommending solutions that detail pros, cons, and risks. 
    • Develop plans to implement process improvement, raising justified investment request where applicable, closely in line with Production Systems and Process teams. 
    • Closely consults with Operations, Business Architecture and Data Management regarding project implementation. 
    • Guide and align with Regions' Optimization Team on implementing global BU Operating Model. 
    • Promoting continuous process improvement practices through process metrics/KPIs, dashboards and role accountabilities. 
    • Lead quality investigations and Root Cause Analysis using lean tools to improve operational data quality. 
    • Promote a paperless, digital office environment utilizing all modern communication methods and electronic tools provided by DB Schenker.
    • Build and maintain business process workflows using Business Process Modeling Notation  (BPMN)  
    • Analyze process models and determine the necessary changes for arriving at the improved state  
    • Facilitate process workshops that involve extracting process requirements and directly liaising with users/operators. 
    • Work with Production System Team to ensure existing systems functionalities and workflows fit the overall process blueprint. 
    • Regular exchange with Optimization Team to ensure process blueprint is maintained reflecting optimization improvements.  
    • In close collaboration with P+S’ Training team actively promote and manage the international, cross-functional implementation of a harmonized process documentation methodology.  
    • Work with Processes & Systems Production Systems, Training, and Optimization Teams to ensure implementation of the defined processes.  
    • Define operational standards & governance comprising SOPs creation, KPIs compliance and audits.  


    Staff leadership & management  

    • Leads and manages a team of Process specialists  
    • Manages all services, employees, and costs within his / her department; provides effective leader- ship and management to staff which promotes high performance standards both individually and as a team  
    • Sets up and conducts resource planning, allocation of resources for projects and / or services, prioritization of tasks, as well as budget planning, controlling and activities to keep the department  budget
    • Defines and aligns the strategy, services, investment decisions, delivery structures and processes of the Requirements Engineering unit with the strategic direction of the Head of Global Air P+S  
    • Reports unit results, KPIs, projects etc. to the Head of Global Air P+S  

    Required Experience  


    • Minimum 5+ years of global process management experience. 
    • Proven experience in defining and deploying best practice processes and in identifying solutions from a people, process, and technology perspective. 
    • Extensive experience driving large scale, complex change initiatives and programs to a successful implementation. 
    • Solid experience in requirements gathering, including experience in creating process documentation.
    • Master’s degree in related technical / business areas or equivalent work experience. 
    • Proficient in process management competences.
    • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with strong presentation and facilitation skills (proficiency in Visio, Word, and PowerPoint). 
    • Demonstrated ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) while providing thought leadership to sponsors/stakeholders in solving business process and/or technical problems.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, customer centric attitude, ability to deal with cultural diversity
